Recently, a new study has been published showing increase in stiffness and a slight increase in cross sectional area (CSA) of human Achilles tendon in response to a BFR training program. These new data confirm what we expected. That is we know we can strengthen muscle and increase bone density with BFR and it makes sense that the tendon in between the two is also strengthened.
In addition, many patients/clients with tendinopathies report benefit from B Strong BFR sessions by improving their overall fitness as well as reducing pain in their tendons.
